Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Business Intelligence (BI) / Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role involves leveraging advanced analytics and data-driven insights to solve complex problems and drive informed decision-making. As a BI / Data Analyst, you will analyze and interpret large datasets, develop predictive models, and contribute to the strategic goals of the organization. You will collaborate with the sales and marketing team to understand the needs of the target client segment, and generate ideas and data products tailored to these needs. Furthermore, you will lead the team to ensure successful delivery of data services to our clients. This position is a critical link in offering data services that effectively meet our clients' requirements.. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, preprocess, and analyze large datasets to extract valuable insights and trends.
  • Develop and implement machine learning algorithms, predictive models, and data-driven solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business problems, formulate hypotheses, and design experiments.
  • Apply statistical techniques to analyze and interpret data, drawing actionable conclusions and recommendations.
  • Design and build data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate findings effectively.
  • Evaluate and fine-tune models for accuracy, performance, and generalization.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging data science trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Implement data cleaning, transformation, and feature engineering processes.
  • Work with engineers to deploy models and algorithms into production environments.
  • Contribute to the development of data science strategies and initiatives that align with our goals.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in data science, computer science, computational mathematics, statistics, or a related field. 
  • Proven experience (min. 3 years) as a BI / Data Analyst or in a similar role, demonstrating expertise in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling. However, lesser experienced candidates will be considered with performance conditions.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and experience with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, PyTorch, Skikit-learn).
  • Good understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning frameworks, and statistical methodologies.
  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Matplotlib, Bokeh, any BI tools.
  • Solid knowledge of database management, SQL, and big data technologies in AmazonAWS
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business questions into analytical approaches.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English & Vietnamese.  Individual scores of TOEIC or IELTS to be highlighted to articulate skills.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and machine learning frameworks (e.g., Skikit-learn, PyTorch) is a plus.
  • Experience in an industry or domain-specific knowledge is advantageous..

Lines of Communication

  • The BI / Data Analyst reports to the Director. The role collaborates closely with marketing teams, sales teams, and other key functional teams.

Working Conditions

  • This is a full-time, onsite position with standard working hours, Monday to Friday. The BI / Data Analyst typically works in an office environment and may be required to occasionally meet clients face-to-face, work beyond regular hours to address urgent matters or accommodate special events.
  • The office work location is in Hanoi.
