Job Description
We areseeking a dedicated Business Analyst / Consultant (Odoo) to join our dynamic team. This role involves working closely with clients or cross-functional teams to identify, analyze, and document business requirements and processes. The Business Analyst / Consultant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, drive process improvements, and ensure successful project delivery. The Business Analyst / Consultant will have specialization in one or more of the subject areas - applications of data analytics (i.e. credit analytics, debt analytics, marketing analytics), Odoo modules i.e. Finance, Sales, Marketing, Human Resources, Websites, Services and will develop skills in all of these areas and deliver to client and internal projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, gather requirements, and document them in clear and concise business requirement documents (BRDs) or user stories.
- Conduct business process analysis and workflow mapping to identify areas for improvement, streamline processes, and optimize efficiency.
- Analyze and translate business requirements into functional specifications, ensuring alignment with technical capabilities and constraints.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and interviews to elicit requirements, gather feedback, and resolve conflicts among stakeholders.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure that technical solutions meet the defined business requirements and provide value to the organization.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including process flows, use cases, and test scenarios, to support project implementation and knowledge transfer.
- Conduct impact assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate the viability of proposed changes or new initiatives.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to develop test plans and participate in user acceptance testing to validate system functionality and performance.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in business analysis, and share knowledge within the organization.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, information systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst / Functional consultant / Subject Matter Expert of Odoo (One or more modules from Finance, Sales, Marketing, Human Resources, Websites, Services), or in a similar role (min. 3 years), with a track record of successfully delivering business requirements and process improvements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English & Vietnamese. Individual scores of TOEIC or IELTS to be highlighted to articulate skills.
- Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to understand complex business processes and translate them into clear requirements.
- Strong documentation and communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders and document business requirements.
- Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
- Experience with business process modeling and visualization tools, such as BPMN or UML, is a plus.
- Proficiency in using business analysis tools, such as JIRA, Confluence, or other similar tools, for requirement management and collaboration.

Lines of Communication
- The Business Analyst / Consultant reports to the Business Solutions Lead and collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, software engineers, designers, and quality assurance engineers.
Working Conditions
- This is a full-time, onsite role in Hanoi with standard working hours, Monday to Friday. The Business Analyst / Consultant typically works in both office and client location. Sometime have required to work beyond regular hours to address urgent matters or accommodate special events.
